India’s biggest life insurance company is LIC or Life Insurance Corporation. Another reinsurance company in India with association abroad and 15th largest reinsurance company is General Insurance Corporation (GIC). LIC is a largest concern and has nearly 109dividional offices and about 2048 branches across the nation. LIC recruits individuals for various posts by conducting online examinations. Question paper for LIC and GIC
The exam pattern for LIC has three sections where part A has questions about domain knowledge of the appropriate stream which carries 40 marks. Part B has questions related to general awareness, reasoning, English language, and numerical ability and computer literacy of about 80 marks. Part C is descriptive and has questions related to English language essay précis and comprehension for 30 marks. The GIC paper in the similar manner has four sections which includes test of reasoning for 50 marks, English language test for 50 marks, professional knowledge test for 50 marks, and general awareness test for 50 marks.
